OpenStack is an open-source cloud platform that manages distributed compute, network and storage resources, aggregates them into pools, and allows on-demand provisioning of virtual resources. These resources can be configured to fit all needs and be used to run any kind of virtualized workflow, in a usual “cloud compute” setting.
HPC center can provide OpenStack access to both University of Tartu and ETAIS users, although most users are encouraged to access OpenStack through the ETAIS self-service portal.
