Discover UT HPC

The High Performance Computing Center is a consortium of the University of Tartu. Our purpose is to maintain and develop the infrastructure for scientific computing. Since our establishment in 2008, we have been involved in promoting the use of HPC in Estonia as an essential tool for international competitiveness in science.

Our computing resources are open for use to any research groups from the university and other Estonian science- and research institutions are also welcome. The resources are also open for the public sector and commercial users.

We offer infrastructure for interactive and batch based computing jobs, Openstack based cloud infrastructure for running virtual machines and Docker containers. We also have 10 PB of disk storage capacity and nearly unlimited mid-term storage capabilities using tapes. Moreover, we offer access to the LUMI supercomputer, the flagship of European scientific instruments.
